It's coming up to summer and I wanted to get a headstart in planning to keep myself cool while driving the s13 this year in the summer. Any shops in socal that has all the parts in stock to install a working ac system in my s13 with an sr20? As one gets old, one gets lazier and don't want to spend too much time fiddling with cars. Looking to drop off the car for a few days or a week and come back to pick up with full working ac system? Would prefer a reputable shop with a reasonable price.

lol good luck with that, you own a damn 240! you're going to have to work and spend money on it!
but i would love to have a/c in the car as well :)

You can see if codyace has any of his conversion brackets still. usually, or at least in my case, you keep the stock a/c components then use the bracket to mount it to the sr.

My problem is that I don't have any of the ac components anymore. I threw away all the ac components in the engine bay away back in 2001-2002 when I swapped in my sr20. I'd rather just pay for a shop that has all parts readily available to install and get it working for me.

Thanks imcunner, I'll give them a call. Last I went out to Smoothlinez was to pick up some side skirts several years ago.

I have a homie that has a legit shop. If you want "real" work done. Nothing half-assed. Then hit up Alex.

I'm pretty interested as well. Haven't owned a car with AC in my life, this 110+ weather pisses me off. Maybe post up general quotes that you get?

The reason I didn't reply back was because I don't like playing the guessing game of offers and as mentioned, I prefer a shop to do it for me so they can cover their parts and work.
