So I am in the process of installing cruise back on my car, when i did the swap it was removed. As far as the throttle body choice, from what i understand most people use a KA24DE throttle body and splice the KA tps to the SR harness. Well i didnt want to splice my nice pretty brand new wiring specialties harness, so i began searching for a throttle body that will let me use the stock SR TPS.

I wasnt able to find this information by searching, but i have found that the 96ish altima with the ka24 is identical to my SR throttle body, even uses a similar tps, so the SR tps will swap right on there, and you dont have to modify your harness. I havent put the throttle body on the car yet, but it also appears that the tb coolant lines are pointed the same way as the SR tb.

Just an FYI

i have cruise by modifying the throttle attachment on the tb to accept 2 cables and by adding a second cable attachment half moon. (set up the sr throttle body to look like a ka tb with cruise by adding a second attachment half moon pulley for the cc cable) i can take a pic if you want. the cc still needs to be wired in to work

I have a wiring specialties harness, so it shouldnt need any special wiring, as I understand the cc box gets its signal from the ecu through the dash connector.

Should be swapping the tb and testing it this weekend. I would much rather a directbswap.over rigging something. I paid $30 shipped for my altima tb on ebay.

your just swapping over the dual pulley system from a cc tb to the sr tb.

As mentioned I just screwed the CC pully on my SR and it was done.
