having a really big clunk sound when im braking.. well its more like when im almost at a full stop.

i feel and hear this loud clunk sound. its not continuous but just 1 clunk.

i can feel it on the brake pedal.

any ideas what i should check for?

im lowered on stance gr+ coils and spl t/c rod.

i checked the rods, they are good.

seems like the sound is coming from driver side.

outter or inner tie rods. but most likely ball joints are worn out from being lowered and not correcting roll center.

Thats ok. The way you will be able to tell is by trying to move the lower control arm on your front suspension. if you can move it front-back by hand, press in new ball joints. Also if the sound continues, its only going to get worse and risk breaking.

try looking at the lateral tension rods sometime the bushings can get really bad and cause movement of the wheel forard and back in the wheel well and cause a cluncking sound. it happens alot even my moms bmw is the same way. wither that or maybe loose brake pads or caliper.

its not so much of a click.. but more of just one clunk.

ok let me describe it as much as i can...

coming to a stop, i press brakes to slow down from 30-10mph

as soon as i hit that 10mph, a loud clunk from under driver side. i can feel the clunk on the brakes. then it goes away.

its only 1 clunk. does not happen on passenger side tho..

this only happens when brake.

i know its not the brakes cuz i checked them, they are good.

then maybe a bushing or something or check the strut tower or suspension for movement

Unless its something with your brake mastercylinder like the vacuum level drops in the booster.

Its kind of hard to tell without personally driving the vehicle and looking at it.

sounds like something in your suspension needs tightened- get under there and put a wrench on all of the suspension parts you've messed with, it's easy to not have everything tight enough :-) my car was doing this after i put the energy bushings in, and my lower ball joints were moving- the poor lower control arms were tired out :-( also check the tc rod to lca bolts, they might be loose
