I want to keep my bumper support on my s13 but the intercooler setup i have is not allowing that.

I was thinking of looking for an IC that will fit perfectly behind the bumper support.

Anyone know were i can get one?

I think the Powered by Max High Mount intercooler is what you're looking for.

id just cut a couple of inches of the support out, then u still have support and can run a big intercooler. can even weld in another piece to bring the support back to the same strength.

With the PBM high mount you still need to trim radiator support, and if you have pop-ups moving headlight motors. It's mainly for better boost response since the piping is a bit shorter than a regular fat FMIC.

That's what I don't like. I have a fat FMIC that came with the car. Never messed with it until now. You say PBM IC, I'll check them out.

PBM looks like good stuff. I'm not sure why I would have to move my headlight motors though.

because it wont allow them to close properly

Ultimately, if you want a kit that retains the bumper support you need to make it a custom setup.

Because there is no room for them.

You can not run the PBM with pop-ups. You have to fab up a relocation kit for the motors or fix position the lights up.

No, because there is no room for the motors.

You either fab a relocation effort or you have the lights fixed in the up position.

I have not noticed a "boost response" increase on a T25. I'd almost argue it's worse with the compressor surge.

on my usdm s13 crash bar, i made a peice of angle steel bracket, and welded the ends, then drilled 2 holes and 2 holes through the crash bar, and then did a nut/bolt through it, then bolted my intercooler to the steel bracket. i'll get a pic this weekend of it.

Well your turbo is so small I wouldn't doubt that you didn't notice any increase in boost response. By the looks of it (on the small side) I'd say the intercooler would be good for ~350hp, maybe a little more. I also think you would notice better boost response on a tuned T28, or a disco potato. The piping is suuuper short, the guys at PBM don't even run BOV's maybe for different reasons.

Yeah @ jr ss.

Point is i want to keep mt pop-ups were they are.
I'll just have to do a custom set up. Re-do the piping and find an IC that is shorter in length, is what i had in mind.

But were would i find one that's smaller in length??
