Looking for a starter for my sr

Hey guys I'm not too familiar with parts but I'm looking for a starter for my sr. Any help would be nice or suggestions, thank you :)

Check with your local alternator/starter repair shop. I was able to have my SR starter rebuilt for $100.00.

you can take the motor from a KA starter and swap it to the head of the SR starter if you have a spare KA starter...

^that only works with a specific type of KA starter though.
But I have a spare that I had rebuilt for $80 at a local alt/starter shop.

Haha wow I'm barely starting to figure out how to use this all again, yes I'll let you all know I'm just looking around locally hoping to get it fast. Is there a difference between regular KA starter and SR?

Yes, there is a difference, one wont work on the other, however you can use a ka starter to rebuild an SR if you swap the back half of it (the motor)
