ummm, wow. i'm not a bodykit guy. i had a uras type 2 on order for my s14a and it failed to arrive after waiting 6 months (THANKS A LOT AUTOIMAGING!) so now bodykits are past me. i'd rather focus on the performance aspect of my vehicle and at least let it run to my likings. well while looking for some new rotors i stumbled across this...

http://www.importfan.com/product.asp?0=0&1=0&3=3540

i mean, incredible. that car just looks fantastic with that kit. i truly never even saw myself appreciating any aspect of a "skyline" knockoff kit but...WOW. i'm speechless as to how good that looks and for under 5 bills i believe i'm going to pick it up. what are all your thoughts on this kit?

i guess

hoodpins on oem hood! woot! haha
nice offset

but back to the kit
meh nothing special. just like any other skyline style kit
it just doesnt flow w/ the kouki front end. skyline is bulgy and big
s14 is smooth and sharp. flows so well

the two just dont work

dude, haven't you heard? hoodpins are all the rage on fully enforced metal hoods  thanks for not completely bashing the kit though ;)

you should stick with the uras type II.

i waited 6 months for that bullshit and that was only the front bumper. now that my finances are a little tighter $450 is looking a lot better than $600 shipped for the front bumper alone. but ill never deny that the uras DOES look better and most likely fits better too.

That kouki has a new front I think now. Gp Sports or Vertex i think? I dont remember but it looks better than the "skyline" bumper.

Garage 5 has a bunch of nice nissans. That guy is on the NorthwestNissans board.

I think they are mostly show cars but I could be wrong...

that first one you posted is nice, i just wish i could squeeze out the extra $1000 on top of the $450 for a kit man, but i can't :(

I wouldn't buy it from there. Theres a reason why its so cheap: its probably crap. The fitment is not gonna be good, and its gonna be a pita to get on right. Even if you like how it looks, its probably not very high quality, because from everything i've heard about importfan, they suck.

all i need to know though is, is there another place to get this kit?

so you just intend on getting a front bumper? i have no clue as to what other company sells this kit. but i dont think there is a company out there that sells a high quality skyline-style kit. i think only those importfan/grounddynamics/whatever places only have this.

go to www.raretrick.com they have great kits at affordable prices. im ordering mine through them anad should be in in a month or so.

yeah, uras 2 front, s14a skirts, jdm rear valence was gonna be the kit. the bumper was a bit lower than the rest, but still clean none-the-less because the type of lines followed through. either/or i guess its time to face the music and learn to work a shitty fitting kit for a shitty budget. thanks for the opinions guys.

NO, i didn't just come here to flame. I was just letting you know that their products are CRAP. They don't fit for shit and they're extremely thick and heavy.

Let me know if you would like me to not try to warn you in the future when you are abou to buy a shit product that you'll be unhappy with.

I don't need to grow up, i'm actually quite mature.

For real guy. The saying "you get what you pay for" goes deep for bodykits. Ebay and alike imatations on bodykits suck much azz, even for honda's. My friends mostly bought their kits from ebay, and most of the time its just one side skirt that fits on right, everything has to be shaped, bended, worked on to fit. Trust me, if you don't want to be spending a whole week cutting and bondoing, save your money and get something better.

I think Top Secret makes the R33 GTR look for the S14 kouki.

Stay away from cheap bodykits, they give you nothing but headaches.

my budget? shiiiiiiiit, i had to save for 3 goddamn weeks just to get my brembo rotors and ebc pads, thats working roughly 32-37 hours every saturday/sunday. the profession of waiting tables right now where i'm at SUCKS! you're lucky to walk with $100-$120 a double saturday shift where i work. so i have to work doubles both saturday and sunday. missed all sorts of autocrosses and fun shit doing it too :\

damn its kind of funny, i always used to see these posts and laugh at the people even thinking about getting the typical ebay/import fan/etc. kits, and now i'm one of them. i just like the way it looks and would prefer to have it on my car, yet it seems i cannot really acquire one without the quality being cheap. what-to-do what-to-do :\

Just save for a better kit, you still havent said why your in such a hurry to get a kit.. Just keep saving. If your that straped for cash get another job, ive had to do it, ive worked 60 hours a week. Its just how the real world works.

yep... im a college student working on campus. max 20 hours a week. $7.60/hour. it takes me about 2~3 months to save up enough to buy something big. first it was 5spd swap, then it was front end conversion, then its coilovers. now im getting kit and then paint. im going with the "for every 1 performance, do 1 thing to make my car look nice" motto.

i know right now you're just dying to do things to your car but you don't have funds. you just gotta be patient mang.

Hell yeah, its the real world man. Not everyone is born with a silver or gold spoon in their mouths. Not everyone has a relative that works in the import tuning industry. Not everyone can be compeletey finish their car in less then a year.

I'm a full time college student and haven't been working since Nov last year. Man I was dying to get stuff for my car after I bought it last July. After a month I bought the usual bolt ons...but it didn't really help out that much, sure I dusted pleny hondas and even a mustang once. Now I got a PT 7.50 job and bills stacked up. So take care of your responsibilties first man or try to find a better job that fits your schedule. You never know what you can find on monster.com or careerbuilder.com or just ask friends or friends of friends. Cuz for me to get my rb25 swap, I gotta pay off debts, so I'm gonna try to go work the graveyard shift doing data entry, but hey it pays $11 an hour.

I'm telling you from experince, save up and buy a kit that has a good company name to back it up. Not a e-bay, importfan, "duplicate" made kit. I had to help mount my friends kits on their honda's. That crap took all weekend to just even mount on right. Most times comanies here in the US go the cheap route by making a mold off the original kit they buy. They mold the original kit dry, and thats why nothing ever fits on right. If your still gonna try to get a e-bay type kit, best of luck trying to make it fit on right. P.S. take a weekend of couple days off when your gonna put it on and buy lots of screws.
