Hey model car collectors!!! I'm thinking of selling my model car collection. I have many rare,one-off and prototype pieces in the set. I will consider selling sets separately but it will not be at the discounted price that I'm giving by selling it as a whole. I got everything in here like muscle machines jgtc, jada option d, autoart, little garage, hot works etc. here is the list by manufacturer, scale and style. I can't list all pics this second as it will take a million years so I will post pics by request like interior, motor etc. Most items have there box and stand but when you as about a set I'll let you know what has what. The autoart cars have a 15 to 20 markup...yes thats what the cars cost normally so before bitching look it up. If you can get it for less good but I doubt it on most. I have cars in the set that I own the only one made...keep it in mind

This is not worth $5000 at all. Especially considering I remember buying those god awful Jada toy models when I was little for like $10-20 each, NEW.

I can attest to the quality of those AutoArt models, as I have one... still not worth 5k in my opinion though.

Bc when things become discontinued value of certain items go up. its just like baseball cards; why are those 5 cent pieces of cardboard worth more than some houses? because of the rarity, regardless if you paid 20 bucks. I know the market for these cars and I can personally say that there are a lot of jada fans and most will pay crazy dollars for some cars, I once seen a black 1:18 supra go for 300!! and thats not uncommon with these cars. What ever one needs to do is research the cars and see where I got my prices. most of these cars are fairly priced but I know I have a rare collection and thats why I said only serious model car collectors bc they would know that the skyline you have is worth a lot bc of the limited run. cars are def worth more in box and most of the higher price stuff has its box and stand but that is not the end all be all for the price, Ive seen many of the 1:18 kyosho cars like the 300zx go for over 200 with or without box as most collector will not mind bc its the car that matters and as long as there intact. All im saying is ive done my research and priced each car accordingly with the help of my friend who owns bay shore hobbies. These are not prices pulled out of my ass. Just bc people dont understand why its priced like that doesnt mean its not worth that. I know personally that I can throw these sets on ebay and get a total of what I'm asking for, its just going to cost way more money to deal with them than to put it on a forum. Just sayin, not fighting and just clarifying. It is very possible to find some cheaper as sometimes people dont know what they have and some online sites will say they have them in stock for the 20 price and you order it to find out a week later they dont. I know this bc I went through it a million times lmao and i had a hard time tracking down many of the cars. I hope you guys understand. I will listen to all best offers but only as sets

Not all those models are Jada, nor are they all able to be purchased at Kmart or wherever. I haven't given much attention to models since I ran a hobby store a few years back, but some of those models that he is selling sold for $60~80+ brand new.

Holy crap i sold a shoe box of 8 of the 1:24 for 15 bucks. bought them each in the store new for like 15. Sold it at a yard sale about 2 months ago, kid came up, saw the TOYS and wanted one but i was selling each for 4 or the box for 30. Mom didnt like the price but the kid was already playing with them, and when she said he started crying. It had a celica, gs300, ferrari, evo, the cop car, and something else. I kept the DuLuck R34 and a Z.

I still see some of the ones that were new but never came in a box at a hobby shop for like $20. I bought a different evo recently, i dont see them being worth more than that for toys.

these "mark ups" are what these cars are going for. I collected model cars my whole life and so did my dad. the riced out cars that you are saying are not worth it, is what is popular right now. Most of the jada toys are barely marked up besides the r32 which is going for that price. I guess zilvia is not the place to sell these bc its filled with know-it-alls who know nothing. if you are that dense to think that bc you bought something at k-mart that it will never triple in value then you will never understand why some of these cars go for what they go for. I know people who make a living selling these cars not to mention I know people who pay staff at places like k-mart to get a first pick at the new shipments of these riced out cars who then turn around and sell them for crazy money. I can sit here and explain this all over again but it will be pointless as you will never get it as you do not seem like a real collector. I hear what you are saying but get your facts straight so if your not interest please move on and flame else where.

the majority of my cars are not jada but muscle machines. All my jada cars are priced from 20-55 aside from the r32. so im not sure how they are hyper inflated when the option d cars ARE going for those prices. check it out yourself the total price mainly comes from my autoart, hotworks, muscle machines and minichamps models. 3 out of the 4 autoart cars you could not order in the usa unless a merchant sold it on ebay. I had to order the tuned trueno from Greece the r32 from germany and the comic trueno from japan and they only have a 15-20 markup so Im barely making anything off of those. the hotworks 1:64 cars im making 25 dollars over what I spent, not all of the d1 cars are rare but a lot are and I didnt inflat the prices separately but just gave 25 markup on it as a total though i could sell some of the rare ones for more including the le blitz box set. the 1:24 scale hotworks s15 is less than what its worth considering hotworks sell for 70 a car now, this was a really limited car and is one the rare hotworks cars on the discontinued line up. The muscle machines are the rare pieces due to the company going under several years ago and there is a huge fan base for these models I know bc Im one of them. The nsx, supra and the s13 are the only prototypes made. I have the only ones in existence and thats where those prices are coming from. There is actual a bride s2000 that went for $2000 bc it was one of the last 1:18 scales to be released before they went under and only about 5-10 cars made it off the line including the skyline coupe but I know the coupe is easier to get which says a lot bc i searched for it for 2 years. many of these cars are rare as some old tomicas and minichamps. The jgtc, the black boxes and most of the muscle machine import line up is worth a lot to the muscle machine fans. about $4360 is all coming from the autoart, hotworks, minchamps and muscle machines. That leaves hotwheels, kyosho, little garage, maisto and jada. jada only totals out to $490 including the 1:24 cars and the r32 99% of these jadas can no longer be purchased in stores unless its left over stock which I doubt most places will have any. Like I said I know the market on jada and there is a black r32 going for 380 by itself right now. $490 for 13 decently rare jada cars; I dont think Im asking for much. I do hear what your saying but its just not the case. just look up some of the jada forums and those guys will tell you. Im not saying you cant find them for less, im just saying these are the going prices
