Hey ladies and gents I'm new to the forum and to the 240 scene. I just recently purchased blackoutt's 95' 240 and have a couple questions in regards to the "bad" which is the idling ( http://zilvia.net/f/cars-sale/375428-fs-95-240sx-built-ka-t-version-select-mb-battles-k-sport.html)

I did some minor replacements to the car: changed the spark plugs, put some new 93 octane gas in, and also noticed the intake to the turbo fell off so I re-hooked that back up. The car now idles fine but any time I rev the engine it just falls flat on its face. Any ideas to how to fix this? Could it be it just needs to be ran more, needs a recirculated BOV (its a KA with a MAF currently using a non-recirculating BOV), or needs a tune and timing adjustment?

Attempted to start it up again today but it started to bog down again, I'm thinking since it was warmed up yesterday the car idled fine. But im looking to change out the BOV to a circulating one since the car has a MAF and it's showing all the symptoms of a car with a MAF running with an atmospheric BOV.

Also going to clean the IACV to see if that helps any.

Pull the MAF plug off when you start it, if it idles fine your MAF is bad...

I was thinking that and yesterday attempted that and it still had the same symptoms. Today unplugged it and it ran a little smoother but still bogging down, I think the timing may be off though and that could make some changes.

Cleaning the IACV today and ordering a recirculation adapter for the BOV
