I'm selling my 1997 Nissan 240sx. It is a true 1997 and not a convert, I have the title in hand. The car is in Denver, CO. The car runs great and is reliable. It has been my daily since October. It has also made many long road trips. The chassis has about 200,xxx miles on it and the KA24DE engine has around 75k. It has the original automatic transmission. The interior of the car is complete and clean. The dash has cracks from sun damage.
Some good stuff:
-JDM front bumper
-Front fiberglass fenders (30mm wider)
-Skunk 2 lowering springs
-Well maintained ( Recent coolant and ATF flush)
-Will include many spare parts if wanted. Koyo Manuel trans radiator from R32 - It fits. Spare water pump, distributor, thermostat, head gasket kit, stock air box, front wheel bearings, valve cover, and more little stuff.
Areas that are not so good:
-It has a Salvage title.- Prior to my ownership. I do not know the cause.
-Check engine light.- I can not guarantee it will pass smog. It is registered in Nebraska where emissions testing is not required.
-The body needs work and a paint job. The fiberglass hood was damaged prior to my ownership and will need to be repaired or replaced. The front passenger's side fender has hairline cracks. The roof of the the car is dented in and will need to be pulled out. The front bumper will also need some work. The car came from California last year and does not have any rust on it.
-Needs AC tension pulley installed (you will get one) and new belt.
-Needs thermostat installed - (you will get one)
It will make a great daily or project car.
I am pricing it at $3200 OBO. I am NOT looking for trades and will NOT part out. I need the money for school. I would like to sell it soon, so I am taking the first reasonable offer.
