I Got A New Dash For $50 Need Help??

well the dash is new to me, i got it out of a '90 model sx without HUD, can i use the hud cluster and just disconnect the actal heads up display?? also i know i cant use the gague cluster i got from the sohc car so i would probably be willing to sell it, and once my sr stuff is done i am gonna sell my hud stuff:)

Assuming you have a 91+


You can use the cluster if you swap the Tach from the 91-94 into the 89 cluster. You can cut a square hole for the HUD to project thru, just look under the dash and you can see where the place to cut out is. I believe the HUD cluster has a different subharness, so get that part too.

I DONT WANT TO RUN THE ACTUAL HEADS UP DISPLAY ON TOP OF THE DASH, I JUST WANT TO RUN THE ONE ACTUALLY IN THE CLUSTER, I WAS WONDERING IF IT WILL WORK WITHOUT THE ONE ON TOP OF THE DASH PLUGGED INTO THE CLUSTER,

BOTH THE SINGLE OVERHEAD CAM ANALOG CLUSTER AND THE WHOLE HUD SET WILL BE FOR SALE AS SOON AS I GET MY SWAP DONE:)

it will work. koguchi has the digital setup in his red fastback here in the states but it has no HUD. oops... yeah. it works. it does not need to be plugged in to work, just the actual cluster. i think you know what i mean. holla
