The plate suggest that this is an e spec s14. and i noticed that it's got nozzels for the headlights:confused:
is that custom or optional?

I dunno if it's the same, since this car has euro plates... but a friend of mine has those on his scooby... they're for warding off deer (his last scooby was hit by a deer)... maybe they ARE washer nozzles, but they look just like the ultrasonic deer repellers to me...
sidenote: OMG those wheels are AWFUL!
I'm guessing there standard/optional because a lot of E-spec cars have them.

Yeah, older Benzes had headlight wipers and washer nozzles. They both operate only when the headlights are on, simultaneously when you use the windshield washer nozzles.
Mazda also equipped washer nozzles on the 10th Anniversary Edition RX-7 TurboII (FC). Yeah, for the pop-up headlights.

all cars in germany and other parts of europe require that there either be washer nossles or wipers that work with the lights. I guess its some kind of safety thing, to allow you to clean your lights any time

they are factory washer nozzles, required in many parts of europe. I've seen 200sx s13's with them, they keep the lights clean to keep light output high and reduce glare. Important when driving through fog or on snow/ice.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
anyhow
I was toying with the idea of installing some of them,it wouldnt be hard at all I dont think, Just Tee off the existing lines and you'd have to drill 2 little holes in the bumper area ahead of the lights.
Hey heres an idea too (for those of us like me who drive in northern Ontario perhaps cause its very cold and salty) To avoid having to drill into the bumper and mess up the lines of the car, why not rig it so that the lights get cleaned when theyre flipped down? Put some squirters in there and rig it to a switch, maybe tee off the rear squirter lines so when you clear the rear window with the lights down, they get cleaned too! I know when the lights get all crusted up with salt their performance is affected a lot.

Yes they are a factory option. The older Supra's had them also.
