I get this weird noise/movement when i turn. I have searched These forms and many others buy no luck so far -.- It only happens when i turn and give it gas but when i press the clutch and turn using only momentum of the car nothing happens. It sounds like metal on metal contact. So far i have been told that 1. the input shafts are that go inside the diff are the same length opposed to one being shorter than the other 2. its normal for a 2-way which is what i think i have. 3.a bad wheel bearing. 0r 4. the half shafts are messed up. Can some one help me out please :( :wtf:

It could also be a loose bolt..I had the same kind of problem a couple times. Once was my wheel almost falling off. But just get underneath your car and take a wrench to every bolt just to be sure its not that.

Really? i once stood outside while a friend was driving around me and i saw my whole rear tire move side to side while he turned. From inside the car its sound horrible but outside its sounds like a little click.

S13 or S14? S14s are notorious for clunking subframes...

Can you give a more detailed idea of where the sound may be coming from?? Engine Bay? Drivetrain?? Suspension?? If I had to guess id say its a suspension issue.

Mine does this too; or at least something similar. Im pretty sure it's just the 2way locking up since it didn't happen when I had an open diff.

It sounds like someone is taking a hammer to my rear suspension.I did alil more research and like fliprayzin240 said it sounds like S14 rear sub-frames have this problem
due to the sub frame bushings being worn or shot sometime this week when i change my oil ima get under there and check ill let you know what i find

Ummm, that shouldn't be happening. Try getting the car off the ground and making sure all the lugnuts are tight and the wheel is directly against the hub. It seems like you are about to have catastrophic failure dude.
