View Full Version : Got my new wheels in and on... 18x8.5 and 18x10 (pics inside) old and new

Hey all... I just got some work wheels... Painted black with a polished lip...

Fronts are 18x8.5
Backs are 18x10 +40 Offset.

Front tires are 235-40-18
Rear are 265-35-18

Anyways... 1st 2 old pics then 3 new ones... I dig black!

but i think it will look a lot better if those rims have some lips in em.

I love the flush... the sunk wheel look was anoying me to death... Lips would be cool... but this wont be my only set...

I'm going to finish off my suspention mods before I pick my power plant...

They are Work Rezax (sp) Rims

The tires were on the Rims... But these tires cost $190 each new. (ouch) They are Dunlop 8000's with about 80%ish tred left.

I got these wheels from PDM-Racing.

They are not to bad...

The old wheels 16x6.5 are 18.5 lbs with the 205-45-16 tires they are 35lbs each.

These wheels... I dont know... I saw one work 1 that was a 18x8 at 17.5 lbs So I am guessing that my fronts are around 18-18.5 lbs... with tires fronts are 49 each.. That was shipping weight. I'll weigh them when I put springs on.

The back are 10 inch wheels.. But total with tire is 51 lbs each.

So yeah I went from 140 lbs of wheel and tires.

To 200 lbs wheel and tires.

You can feel that they are on there. But I will fix the all show no go soon.

And right now its easy to break em loose becuse I have an open diff..

I dont want just any old LSD I want a Quaife LSD... Good for drag and corners... More streetable.

VERY NICE MAN!!!

I am all about the 5 spoke rims. A little tire shine, suspension mods and whatever power plant you choose to use those the width more will be awesome:eek: . Any reason why you didn't want silver?? Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the completed product (like this ever actually happens:D ... there's always one more mod that is wanted)

The reason they are black is the last owner made them black... These are new to me... not new rims... I cant find these anywhere els (which I also love becus they are rare...)

I also dig the cleaness of a 5 spoke... I dont like crazy mesh.. and wheels with more spokes then I got fingers... They take to long to clean...

I think power will start with a turbo KA... I suck at saving and thats what an RB26 needs... is save cash for it... KA I can do a little at a time... And I'm tired of putting off the power upgrades...

I'll just buy a second 240 later to put the turbo KA in... Like a 93ish I like the fastbacks. I want the 95 to be an RB26 sometime later...

haha, i think we are all comming up there in the spring time with our cars to have a Juo Ni vs. Maui battle or somthing? Im sure when Grip guys come up they will envite SteveO and Stan/Ross/Pedro or one of those guys. I wanna see you guys in action :)

Thanks Matto..hey I wonder where you got all those pics from...hmmmm? LOL! Good to hear from ya the other night Linds. And Matto...we have entirely way too many projects all the time! And now we have Brycen's TurboII here! I love the R32 GT-R rims though they're so sweet in gunmetal.
