go w/ SPLparts.com
cheap and high quality. great service and support too
tie rods
go w/ tein and if you can afford, SPLparts.com endlinks. they look STRANGELY familiar to some of the Ikeya Formula ones (ack i need to order these from spl soon)
no real significant differences. for the most part, they all will withstand the same amount of abuse

damn 155
anyways yeah i guess that's normal price
it will do great. dont worry about the spl endlinks. they are more hardcore. definately for folks w/ lowered cars and wheel changes. more tunign required.
pads. all depends what you do of course.

i have mystery pads
drifting lately is not on track but lot events (ugh)
on track it will be porterfields
right now, no idea. but not constant like track so it doesnt overheat/fade. i use a good fluid/lines and good cooling to brakes..i used to use KVR on front..still have them on rear
if autox might ask HALZ or THX(i forget rest of name)
the price comment. sorry. i forgot retail is near that.

I'll vouch for SPL products. Good stuff. I can't wait til I can afford the rear toe and bumpsteer rods. I've heard a lot of good things about Hawk brake pads.

Yeah, its a good idea to buy from a manf. that is based where you live. Gettin parts from Japan is good, but not if they don't already sell it in the US unless you got a bottomless wallet. If buying just to show what brand it is and no one else has it.........leave that to the lame show cars who don't drive their cars (ughhh). Buying from a US manf. is alot easier becuase, shipping will be cheaper and faster, customer service won't need a translator, cost will cheaper. Thats why buying everything from one manf. is not a good idea unless you got inf. amount of money or your trying to be for show in one way or another.
Hopefully I can order some nismo subframe bushings from SPL or another source. Gettin tired of wheel hop when I take on a sharp corner or drift it...

thanks. i wasn't really referring to purchasing parts directly from japan though. the companies ive mentioned can all be purchased from importers or stores here.

As much as I hate to do it, I must strongly recommend against battleversion. It's tien all over again...rusty threads = ruined parts.

Matt_240, I'm not sure what your asking that I didn't say in my original post.
pSY trek, t/c rods. they have a main shaft with 2 ends that screw in. One end was great, the other end was made of something different and rusted in place. So it's still adjustable via the one end but not really because you can't turn it while its bolted in.
I live about 30mi from the beach. Didn't have them but a few months and they saw neither the beach nor snow during that time...not that it should even be an issue for a quality part.
