i doubt a claim will be paid. most likely the shipper used the bare minimum (if any) amount of packing material. and it looks like it was his/her dumbass that bent it to fit the box. which is why when you ppl ship things you need to pack them properly. "insufficient packaging" is the main reason damage claims are rejected. even better take it to the shipping outlet (ups store or fedex kinkos) so they can pack it to spec. it'll cost more money but then again that's why alot of us don't ship stuff lol

That shit is completely because of the seller. That box was not large enough to fit the lower garnish and he bent it to fit. That is obvious from the pic. In fact that box looks undamaged. You will not be able to file a claim with Fedex over that.

If it's obvious negligence on the part of FedEx file a claim. If it's the shipper fault, then take it up with him. Persistence pays when dealing with the claims dept at FedEx. Keep calling and don't take No for an answer. The claims clerk will always try to dismiss you hoping that you will get frustrated and give up. I work for FedEx as a driver and talk to claims dept sbout damages to shiipments from time to time, if you bitch enough you should be able to get you way. To be honest with you it looks like it was improperly packaged.

yeah he got them for his friend, he does those cool random things. Like the other day he went to the nissan dealership to get me the buttons for the brake and clutch pedals for my car that i am working on.

Stupid shit about that is most authorized packaging places know better and pack accordingly. In fact their shipping prices usually reflect that fact as well.

What happened to the factory box the tails came in? I have shipped many sets of tails and always used the factory box, as its a triangle box that protects that piece perfectly.

I've been to a FedEx Kinkos store and had them ship stuff for me. Granted it was small, but they did package it for me. Maybe only those stores do it.
