Kouki 180sx Tails Question

Hey guys a quick question for you. My next door neighbor at my dad's house in Ohio, who is a good friend of mine was able to get a set of the tail lights used really cheap from one of his buddies who wrecked his 240. He said that he thought of my car when he got them off of his friend and said he would give them to me for $65 bucks.
When I asked if there were all four pieces, he said that there is only three pieces, Left and Right tails, and the center section w/ the reverse lights.

So my question is how hard would it be just to get the 4th piece? About how much should I look to spend for it and which piece has the place for the keys?

Can I use my key lock from my old hatch or is that something else I will need to buy?

This was one of those things that I was going to do WAY down the line, b/c I can find a lot better things to drop $500 or so on, BUT if I can get them now for such a cheaper price I figure might as well do it now. I just wondered if it were worth it or if it would just be a huge hassle trying to get the last piece(s) that are needed to do it right.

you can find the 4th piece easy as well as the key and core. no problem


no you need a new key and core (like 40 bucks) because its longer then the USDM chuuki ones

hey Im new here, but I thought i would add in my 2 cents. Since you had such a great find for only $65 i would definitely go for it and find the fourth peice, because it is still not going to cost anywhere near you would get them from most other places.

Well, It looks like its a change of plans.

Went to OH today to my friends and there was some guy there in town who was willing to pay 275 for them so my friend asked me if that was cool, he gave me $100 of the money, So basically I made 85 bucks after paying for gas for doing absolutely nothing and going to see my friend for a while.:D

Like I said this wasnt a high priority, so no loss at all. Maybe some other time. Suspension > Tail lights anyday. so I'll just put some of that $ towards my coilover fund.
