S13 Silvia Front bumper support same as US?

I was wondering if the USDM & JDM front bumper re-enforcement are the same and are interchangeable say I do s13 silvia conversion and It didn't include a bumper or bumper support and I buy an aftermarket s13 silvia front bumper and use my USDM front bumper will it work or not? thanks - JOe

if you go to an aftertmarket bumper the opening for the intercoolaer or other big ass openings will requier you to remove parst of the bumper to have everything clear anyways so just cut off what you need to to make it fit (IIRC yes they are the same) I am running no inner bumper and am in he proc of fabbing new barckets to attach and support the bumper just waiting for the bumper to arrive from the land of the rising sun

Anyways, NO, the supports are NOT the same. We only had 180SX front ends here in the USA on S13. The 180SX supports are a higher, longer, and a tad thicker than the S13 Silvia support.

I know this cus I have them. :P

You'll have to hack the SHIT out of the 180SX support to make it work.. less hassle to get a S13 Silvia support.

I don't recommend running it w/ no support unless you wanna die...
