First I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but it's not even a Nissan so it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else.
My buddy has a 1988 Toyota Camry standard beater car but it is losing a lot of coolant so we went looking for the leak and...

That tiny hole that has the yellowing below it is pouring water. It's right behind the alternator bracket near the timing belt it doesn't appear to have threads in it or anthing so near as we can tell it's just a perfectly drilled hole that is suddenly leaking coolant?
Also to make the whole thing even more bizarre if the car is running nothing comes out of the whole, but when it's shut off back to draining all the coolant. Any help? We're at a loss. My best guess is that a seal went on the water pump or something.
