the 12.3 run i was up againsta a pro stock fire bird that let off before the 1/8 mile and the 12.0 run i was up against some crazy muscle car that did a wheel stand.
i wasn't pulling great 60 foots because i can't stay in the water box the slicks just grab even if i dump clutch at 7000 rpm. so i am installing a line loc this week. i am going to norwalk raceway park this coming friday if any one would like to join me. hoping for low 11's high 10's. with the line loc should be able to turn some better 60 foots. i am going to turn up the boost to 25 psi( the 12.0 was on 22 psi) and will be running some c116.

How do you like the Apexi rx6b as compared to any gt series turbo from HKS? I always pended between apexi and hks, but never had anyone to ask their own opinion.

i really don't know on the hks vs. apexi, i have never had an hks turbo. i like the apexi turbo it doesn't spool fast , but for its size it spools decent. it pulls hard in the top end. the only thing i am weary about is the small turbine housing. but i have heard they flow good.here is a pic of my motor when i was biulding it.

If you improve your reaction time youll do much better. A .930 r/t is a pretty high number, but the car is still badass, you should come out to nyc and race my sr sometime ;)

norwalk is a VERY nice track. i was there all day (10-4) the 17th with COFBA. itll be easy for you to hit 11s with slicks or even DRs there. fyi i managed a 15.295 with apexi filter, hotshot header, and apexi n1 single exhaust as my only power adders on my 116k mile KA.

Hey Brad...you're from Showdown Motorsports right? I've talked to you a couple times on the phone. This is Mike from Horizon Motorsports. We should all get together sometime. I live in Akron.

RT means nothing toward your 1/4 mile time or trap speed, it doesn't help it at all. RT only means something if you're racing heads up, which i doubt would be the case here as he was next to some pro stocker;)
in other words you can sit at the tree for an hour then take off and your time doesn't start until you break the beams and still run a 12 second run after sitting there with the green light lit.

Mike, I've been trying to get a hold of you for a while. I was in ASR, remember? I had the n/a 240 (had being the operative word.)
Brad! Make some time to roll this weekend when you're back!
PM me and we can all cruise this weekend! I shoudl have "Project Phoenix" back together by then. Mu ha ha!!
Jenne
PS Sorry I hijacked the thread!
Back on topic:
How well does the z32 maf and 255/l fuel pump handle higher boost launches? I was having a lot of problems when I was starting at ten pounds. But it might have just been boost creep - I was having setonation problems and then I lowered the boost and everything was fine.

my car lauches good i just rev it up to 6500 and drop the clutch. you can't use the z32 maf with out either a ecu retune or a safc.
