I know I havent posted in a while, I've been quite busy doing other stuff. But I just wanted to let you all know I just purchased my first Nissan last night. It's not a 240, but it's still cool. :axe: It's an 86 300ZX turbo and I'm excited as hell about fixing it up. I'm probably gonna start frequenting the 300 board now, but I'll come back to harass you all every once in a while. Later.

Technichally, this is a Z board but there aren't that many Z owners. Anyways, good luck with your project and I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to seeing your progress as you work on it so show us some pics once in a while.

word of advice, i have a 240z, if you go to www.hybridz.org BE CAREFUL they dont tolerate stuff such as keep it nissan and all that so beware, personally i think you should go to www.zdriver.com they do all years of z's, zcar.com kinda sux now, and www.classiczcars.com is awesome but mainly for 70-78 dastsuns, so good luck, and post some pics sometime

I used to have an 88 300z non-turbo 5spd - fun car. When I'd launch that thing the rearend would squat so much the muffler would hit the ground. A cool site that has forums is Z31.com.

Yeah, I've been to z31.com. VERY good turbo FAQ section. I'm gonna do this right. :cool: I'm gonna give her an engine rebuild, some metal head gaskets, and MAYBE some new low compression pistons. :boink: If I do the pistons though, I'm going to have to upgrade the turbo since the stock turbo is inefficient above 12.5 psi of boost.

dont go to big, you need to keep lag down, but t3/t4 hybrid:)

damn you got a z31 turbo lucky bastard congrats on it tho, hks makes a lotta products for that car.....i think

Yup, I've always liked the z31's. Finally have one of my own. :boink: I'll hopefully get some pics today or tomorrow.
