Might be a stupid question... but I've been searching for weeks without a definite answer... reason for this is cause I found a good deal on a set of wheels that i really cant pass up :D but they are all 18x10.5 +15

So... who has put an 18x10.5 +15 under the front wheel wells with oem fenders?? if soo can you post up a picture for me?

why dont you just buy the wheels since its a good deal and see if they fit and if they dont keep them for spares for the back or trade them for 18x9 i know that will fit on the fronts

OP, sell a pair on here and get some 10s or 9.5s for the front.
the pair will sell very easily.

Can be done on s14....s13 no chance. It will rub like hell under load tho (i.e. actually driving your car).

Or maybe you're a fanboy hard parker...in that case it doesn't matter.

I have some on my s14 but with 30mm origin fenders but I also have 35mm spacers. S14 you can do it pretty easily s13 you will have a very hard time

it can be done.. stretch a 225 or 235 w/ some camber and a roll.

whiterps13

It can not be done without spacers.

I have 18x9.5 +15 up front and it clears coilovers by MAYBE 2mm. More like 1mm.

But at the end of the day, its going to rub fucking everywhere, so be prepared for that. Just because you CAN doesnt mean you SHOULD.

Its like your skinny 12 year old brother buying 38x38 jeans because theyre on sale at WalMart.

Anderson and obeewon, what size tires are you running in the front?

i have a kouki, and i was planning on running a 235 40 18 in the front

!Zar!

Is there a purpose to running such a huge front tire other than bragging rights?

Yeah its been done! a friend of mine with an S14 "THY FROM CERRITO'S" was running ce28's 18x10.5 +18 or 15 one of thoze two on his kouki front and just added a slip on to clear coilover and mild pull/roll and did not have stupid camber whatsoever! i ust say it looks verry aggressive and the way i like my cars :) i cant say for s13 tho!

Nick_04K

Honestly you could do it. But it's completely pointless.
It will look terrible!
It will rub like a mother fucker!
It will not get you any pussy.

Get some overs or weld two metal fenders on top of each other or don't even try it.

If anything, buy them and flip them to another retard over here.

Yeah, that's pretty cool fitment alright. Especially how the rim sticks out about an inch and a half past the actual tread. Dopeeeeee!

This car was running 18x10 +11 and it seemed to be legit.

C. Anderson

Yeah. I was running a 235 40 there. It didn't rub that bad because it wasn't too low. I don't really care for that look anymore. The car is now actually being made to work right. And I don't know what your talking about whiterps13 because I did it. It needed a 3 mil slip on spacer to clear the coils. Has it occurred to you that different coils can give you more or less space.

05-14-2011, 12:17 AM
^^^thats true..it depends on coils on my fortune autos I have more clearance than my hks hypermax D running 10.5 +15 upfront

hmmm... I tested them today and theres like no clearance at all with my ohlins coilovers... i will try to get some pics later.

in the mean time if anyone has any black 18x9.5 +12 that wants to trade me message me!

You need a spacer to clear them no matter what.

I had 18x10.5 +15 - 235/40/18 tires and had to use a 5mm spacer to clear coilovers on my s13 with fender flares and max - camber

To the OP...are you ever going to run a angle/knuckle kit? If so you might want to consider a smaller size, if not then dont worry about it. Once you drift with a knuckle kit you wont ever look back. Just my 2 cents.
