So im trying to pass smog
everything p0assed but my hydro carbon count was too high
so the tech said its realy close all i would need is a goot o tune up
so yeah i dnt drive the car much but it did need it
so i went and did a full tune up
well then i took it back and he noticed that it just wouldnt heat up to mid level
so he said it might just fail again
cuz it just wont heat up it would stay cold after like 20 min
when i drive it goes to the center and stays perfect
so he said replace the thermostat with an oem
i did that
and went and got coolent 50/50
i turn the car on and it warms up a bit better
but notice my rpm much lower
used to be at 900
now its at 400 and shaking a little
so i try and adjust the throttle cable to raise it a bit but all it does is rev to like 2k and then drop back to 400 rpm
i say screw it i gotta get to work
so as im rolling out and start drivin g 10 seconds later i look at the temp
and bam its all the way on h
so im like aww crap go back home turn the car off pop the hood and it felt a little hot i guess but not realy and the resevoir tank is like pumping and bubbling the coolant a littl
any ideas or help thnx guys

you have bubbles in ur cooling system jack up the front of the car all the way up and let bubbles come outbut search it up it has been covered over 1000 times

i hate to say it but on my honda i had a bunch of heating problems with it and alot of them were because i had air in my cooling system, i took off the radiator cap and jacked the car up and squeezed the radiator tubes until it stopped bubbling and started it and made sure all the bubbles were out, i replaced the thermastat too and it worked untill my gauges started to short out haha, thats a honda for you. i would just make sure you get ALL of the air out of there

Ok so i unscrewed the little bolt near the intake mani
to let the air bubbles out i filled the coolent till
it came out the bolt hole
a tech told me to do that to bleed it out
so yeah i drove it around for a while and
no more over heating but
the low idle still
stands
and messing with the throttle cable isnt raising my idle like i did once,
also the check engine light came on and blinked 4 times and stopped???????
Idk man i gotta find out whats behind this low idle
i went from one little problem to replacing a lot of things just to pass this smog and now a check engine???
Help plz thnx =]
