Help!! S13 sr20det problem!

Everytime I'm passed 3000 rpm it won't go into a powerband and it feels super slow compared when i first got it and I just put a OEM CAT with APEXI exhaust anyone knows what i should do?

it feels like once i passed 2000 rpm my engine has the same sound when im at 4000 rpm Do i need to adjust my gears because i just adjusted my timing

Get a timing light and check the timing if it's off adjust it wats yut vacuum reading on yur gauge
