240 questions...

my single cam KA recently started making a "clicking noise", the timing chain used to rattle a lil bit but this is a different sound and it only clicks when im giving it gas, if i downshift or leave it on neutral it doesnt doit, what can it be?

and

im getting a "clanking" noise coming from my suspension when i turn the wheel,i have coilovers so i doubt its the springs moving, none of the boots are ripped,arms and joints look fine, what can this be?

Look up videos on detonation or pinging and make sure your engine is not making that sound. If it is, you need to take care of it right away. Bad detonation sounds like a ping pong ball bouncing around under your hood; this will cause serious damage to the engine in no time.

run a compression check on each cylinder, google how to do one if u dont know how, maybe that will help.

anyone else???...it sounds like (for the ppl that know) when u put a metal bar to a injector nd u put it to ur ear to check them,it ticks just like that

I was wondering if you can send me a couple of pictures as to where the ground cables leading from the battery terminals are connected at the engine. thank you.

Sounds like it might be an oil pump issue, get your oil pressure checked out. There might not be enough oil pressure so what you are hearing are the cams ticking against the valves. But then again it might be a bearing issue with the transmission? I'm not too sure there.

and as for suspension check for your collars being tight and with little pressure on the springs. I had a buddy that had the same problem and it ended up being that. Hope it helps!
