i took off the exhaust manifold to replace the gasket because i had a really bad exhaust leak, i was missing 4/8 bolts, come to find out that the reason y the last owner didnt put or had the 4 bolts was because theres a half of a bolt stuck in the head, does anyone know how to remove it?

try using some tools like these Screw Extractors | Bolt Extractor | Square Easy Out | Spiral Easy Out (http://www.toolprice.com/category/screwextractors/)
When drilling make sure its going straight and you better make something to hold the drill for you so it can't move. Easiest way of course having the head out on a drill press.

did a hole in the center and use a easy-out... if any and a little nipple to it the have bolt extractors just hammer one on and hit it with the impact.....if you have left hand drill bits they sometimes just come out......if its still in there heat the fucker and repeat....you can weld a nut on the inside to the broken bolt.........pick one use you imagination.......

Not sure how well it would work, But maybe take a dremel and cut a line in the bolt and try to take it out with a flat head or something? just an idea.

Don't buy the cheap junk from local auto part stores. All the cheap tools break, the metal of the tools are so weak.
