Ok, as anyone who has a Zilvia.net Email address provided by Everyone.net knows its progressively got out of control, the pop-ups and banners make the email worthless.

Everyone.net wants me to Signup for the "Upgraded" email box from them but now they want $30 compared to $15 I paid a few years ago. I don't think that's worth it.

Here is the Idea, I will purchase a web based email program at Hivemail.com. It is PHP based, there will be NO pop-ups, no banners besides the ONE you see on Zilvia.net pages. It has spam rules and filtering that are provided for free. And about 1 million other features that make me want to implement this for everyone.

My question is if we provided a FREE 5mb email for everyone with the option to upgrade it to 20mb for $20 a year, would anyone do this? The money would go toward paying Zilvia.net Monthly Hosting fees, Remaining Server Costs, and Additional Hard Drive space.

If there is interest then I will make sure we can pay the following months Host fees and Server payments and get this email thing started ASAP. So let me know what you think!

THANKS!

Here is a snapshot of the User Interface...

i'd say anything's better than everyone.net.
Will this new setup be based on Zilvia's server? Will it be POP3 also?

Also, I'd recommend pricing be competitive to say... yahoo, etc.

Yahoo's pricing:
10MB mailbox for $9.99/year
25MB mailbox for $19.99/year
50MB mailbox for $29.99/year
100MB mailbox for $49.99/year

POP3 is supported.

I could setup the same payment options as Yahoo.

Edit: It will be on the Zilvia Server.

Honestly I don't mind having everyonenet mail. I use it as my primary email and its great. Uploads pics fast, maybe one pop up, and email is very fast in terms of sending and recieving messages. I also like how its "@zlivia.net" Ya Im a ricer.

I like the idea, but I'm not sure you'd make your $ back on it. I use it a little. Would never go over 5mb but ofcourse would be happy to see a better system. Would all current mail and contacts be copied to the new server or would we lose it?

very good idea. i have nothing against everyone.net. i don't mind the popups and all, but that new interface looks really good. very win xp-ish. i wouldn't mind paying 10 bucks for 10mb. i don't think i'd ever go above that.

Alright, I ordered it!

Order takes 48 Hours to fully process. I will install it either this Weekend or Monday. Probly Monday as Im finishing my 5 lug swap this weekend, and having a baby any day now :D

For members who have a Zilvia.net email account you will need to re register once the new service is live on our servers. I apologize but there wont be a way to convert the mailbox's. You will be able to get to the zilvia.everyone.net email accounts and forward your mail to the new box's though.

I will keep everyone up to date. Thanks!
