ok i got a new stering wheel and i want to put it on but i am worried about the cruise control i pulled the wheel apart and see the wires and how to take the wheel off but how do i move the cruise control so i can install ym new wheel.. does anyone have any instructions for this or any help.. thanks...
o ya i have a 90 240sx fastback.....no airbags

I have the same car, I don't see any way to keep the factory cruise controls. I'm guessing you figured that out.
Ok having said that, I know lots about automotive wiring. So lets talk.
When you yank the wheel off you are going to see 3 brass rings on the back that control the wheel's functions.
I'm guess if you grafted the CC switches (or maybe some similar switches from an electronics store) onto the dash and spliced them right into the wires that lead to the pins that follow those brass rings on the steering column, you could get it to work.

All you do is remove the big nut in the middle of the wheel and pull it off.
