help?

my brother just bought a 92 integra that came with a headman header. the problem is that it won't pass smog. the header is 50 state legal but the smog guy said that it needs to be carb approved. What should i do?

but are you talking about the inspection station? Did it fail?

I'm not sure how they do it in cali, but around here you could just take it to a local shop that is certified to do inspections and just slip him a $50 or something.

Also you could buy a stock header and put that on.

best thing to do is pickup a stock header, and make sure you still have the stock cat on it. Im sure youl be able to find someone who will let you borrow there's or even have it. Cali sucks for getting things to pass smog cus we have to pass the visual check too.
