Selling my 1996 240SX SE with 122K on the body, mostly highway miles. Purchased in 2001 w/ 80K on it. Garaged in the winter. I've had the car for a long time and taken very good care of it. The car was in one accident but repaired and has clear title. Always synthetic oils / regular maintenace.
The exterior color is factory Nissan Pearle White. I replaced the front factory bumper w/ a aftermarket fiberglass Bomex front (cracked at lower lip due to low ride height) with clear signals and side markers, and front factory Silvia grill. Also has factory 1998 240SX side skirts and JDM Silvia rear bumper w/ side valences. I replaced the yellow plastic US headlights w/ factory German GLASS headlights. I also installed FK clear lens corners. The tail lights are from the 1998 240SX.
The wheels are 5lug 5Zigen 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the rear w/ Falken tires. It has 5mm spacers to push the wheels out a little more. Brake calipers are from the 300zx front and rear w/ 300ZX Brake Master Cylinder. Slotted rotors, Stainless steel brake lines and Nissan Skyline R33 ebrake cables for optimal ebrake conversion. The car does not have ABS.
The interior is gray and has maintained well. I switched the steering wheel to the Maxima version. Added newer Maxima shift handle w/ short shifter, Redline boots for the handle and e-brake, aftermarket Silvia floor mats, Silvia door sills, JVC radio w/ audio port in front for mp3 players / phones, DEFI boost and oil gauges, Apexi SAFC - mounted in custom Maxima tray but SAFC is not wired in, Greddy boost controller - never installed brand new in box.
I swapped in the Kouki S14 Blacktop SR20DET w/ the ball bearing T28 turbo. I installed it in 2005...had around 45K on the motor and I put around 10K. The engine has never been boosted past factory boost. It is very healthy, never abused. Wired for AC but compressor not installed. I have added the aftermarket Apexi intake, a recirculated Greddy Blow off valve, custom Spearco small form factor intercooler w/ Greddy piping, small form fartor Mazda battery. The exhaust is full catback RSR w/ test pipe removing catalytic converter. The car is NOT smog approved. I opted for this exhaust due to its factory look and smooth engine note...if revved lightly it will not attract any attention from police. It has an RPS clutch w/ stainless steel clutch lines bypassing factory elbow for better clutch feel and Nismo tranny mount as well.
For handling, I installed TEIN Flex coilovers w/ adjustable height, dampners and camber. I swapped the springs in the back to 4kg for smoother ride over bumps. Also has adjustable caster arms in the front, w/ adjustable camber arms in the rear and subframe bushings to remove the slop of the rear subframe. Front wheel well harness relocated to avoid rubbing when car is lowered. COILOVERS NEED REBUILD. The car drives fine but if lowered past where it is now it will rub the tires.
