I finally decided it was time to quit halfassin my headlights and get some of PDM's Bosh H4 conversions.
As we all know, the stock sealed beam headlights in S13s suck. I do about 70% of my driving on poorly lit, deer infested Missouri highways, so I need better lighting than that. Last year, shortly after buying the car and directly after almost losing it to a big black dog that appeared in the road, I bought a cheap ass set of Pilot Driving Lights from Autozone for like $40. These helped my lights, but didn't make the whole situation better.
The new Bosh lights have a much improved beam pattern, where the sealed beams would just throw light out there, and produce alot of glare, these new H4 housings create a much better cutoff, and are slightly brighter than stock. The highbeams kick ass! they light the road, and more importantly, the shoulder far better than the previous lights. Anyways enough of my ramblings, there are pics to be posted.
OK, the headlight on the pic's left is H4, the right is old sealed beam, ooohh ahhh shiny

As you can see, the H4's pattern is more precise, with less glare than the sealed.

Obligatory car shot, I swear the headlights made my paint shiny, or maybe its just the low light...

Enough of this daytime BS, time for night pics. All forward shots were taken from the hood of my car, wall shots were taken from about 15ft away.
Lowbeam pattern against a wall, notice good cutoff

Highbeams with drivinglights on, this combo gives me plenty of light at night, its like driving with brights and lows on at the same time.

Those are the informative pics, here are some that suck.
here are the lowbeams(I think) on a dark country road, with a barrier about 60 yards or so away.

Don't be a ricer. I have driving lights, but I never EVER drive around a lit city with them on, there is no need, If you do, you might be a ricer. I only use them on very dark rural highways, I turn them off when oncoming traffic approaches and turn them off for towns. That is all.
