if you cant touch the metal, and feel the quality in person.. i wouldnt touch it. why? because i know you can get them from fred @ wheelspacers.com -- and i know i can trust his products because I personally have them on my car and saw them as they were machined to my specs.
not saying that the above are bad, just saying *buyer beware*
if you think the seller is reputable, then go ahead.. but unfortunately, ebay is never known for quality sellers. i always try to buy direct and avoid the crazy tomfoolery.

What do you plan on getting in regards to spacers? I'm still debating whether or not to get some 20mm spacers all around on my 17x8 +35 wheels. I'm pretty sure mine will work fine but I might need some fender rolling.

However, Fred's start at $65/spacer, which is $130/pair, or $260/set... this guy's is "only" $185/set (+shipping) ... a significant difference!
Not that I wouldn't buy from Fred, I've spoken to him on at least two occasions and he seems like a great guy... but the price difference can make or break a sale when it comes to an elastic (or what I perceive to be an elastic) market like this.

Biggest problem I see with this spacer is that it does not have a collar to keep the wheel hubcentrically mounted. You also notice that the thread pitch is on the studs is 12x1.5 (i.e. prob made for hondas and such that are lugcentric) Just keep that in mind. When the wheel wobbles it can loosen lugnuts and snap studs. Ask me how I know.

check the group buys section. there was someone selling spacers before. i think he's still selling them but not at sale price anymore. alot of people of these forums bought them and installed them and i haven't heard of any problems yet. check it out.

I personally know people who's wheels have flewn off of their car from using wheel adaptors. Just like the guy who bought the SR header that cracked, I would be careful when buying from sellers on e-bay. Yes, it looks okay. Yes, the price is good. The rest, is ALL up to you my friend.
Find the specs of the spacer, machine it, and be done with. All I can say is even though Fred was pricey, my wheels are still on and I have no balancing issues -- car is just as reliable as before.
ps: I didnt machine the hub-centric lip in mine either, mostly because I used conical lugnuts which dont require hubcentric function anyway. No shimmy issues, over 3 years of use.

wasn't really going to buy them but just wanted to see what you guys thought. I guess the moral of the thread is that we should be skeptical of things that are on ebay that are risky but cheap. Thanks for the feedback guys...

ps: I didnt machine the hub-centric lip in mine either, mostly because I used conical lugnuts which dont require hubcentric function anyway. No shimmy issues, over 3 years of use. I've been using pairs of cheap (4/5 hole and 100/114.3 pcd) sandwich spacers (two 3mm spacers on each front hub) for a few months, and I haven't had any problems either... and I certainly don't think these (mine) were machined to "exacting specifications". Granted, they're significantly smaller and lighter than the 32mm bolt-on spacer that I'm about to run on my next set of wheels.
I think most of us use the conical tapered lugnuts, and while they sort of retract from the usefulness of a good hubcentric ring/spacers, I think we'd all feel 'safer' with a complete hubcentric wheel set up. However, I'm not a particularly discriminating buyer, and can deal with something that's not hubcentric. I'll let all know if I have any problems with my "group-buy" 32mm spacer purchase! (knock on wood, I guess).
I say... as long as your lugnuts are torqued down and you haven't done anything silly, you should be fine.
