My ECU is not grounding the fuel pump relay. When I turn the key on the fuel pump does not kick on and prime like normal. I know it's not the pump, as the pump turns on when I jump terminals 3 and 5. I replaced the pump relay and still no luck. I have 2 ECU's so I decided to throw in the spair. Turned the key and sure enough the pump primed like normal.

Is it possible to have the ECU repaired? It's been tuned obviously since this is a ka-t so if the ecu is shot, would it be possible to send it in and have the daughter board swapped into a new one? Just curious if there's anyway to avoid having to get another ecu AND have it re-tuned.

Did you try to open it up and see which pin was fried?

Yeah I have it open right now but I don't see anything visibly burned out. I'm pretty sure it's the ECU and not the wiring/harness though. Fuel pump would not kick on and prime when turning the key with the tuned ecu in. Swapped in the old ECU and the pump kicked on like normal. Swapped the tuned ECU back in again and no dice.

I had a KA-T about 6 months ago, I switched over to SR now but my ECU was fuked up when the maf wireing got caught on the pulley. I didn't even didn't know how to check pins before until recently I opened it up and found that my pin 36 was jacked up.

but yours is different IDK what happened to yours since you can't even see the burnt price
