View Full Version : KA24DE timing, i need some re-assurance *pic's Galore

so i just finished timing my KA today and want to make sure everythings right. seems like it is but i'd rather be sure before i put it in the car and find out it isnt:goyou:

why would u say that ?
it will pop right on

also make sure u put the seal between your oil pump passage on the lower cover or u wont have any oil pressure

you mean the front main seal?? or am i thinking of the wrong seal?

ive set my timing with the TPS plugged..I go and do it the right way with it unplugged. the car then runs sluggish, and horribly, so i set it back. The car runs as it should the first way. so whats up?

no its an o-ring that goes in the hole in the block its to the left "facing the motor" its the bigger hole in between the two small holes.

I'm not the OP, but just to join on that, I almost missed putting mines back in. but i may have put it in backwards tho.
