Anyone have any specs or helpful sites; i have been searching for information in regards to torque, response, and horse power specs between the stock and Greddy intake manifolds

this setup is focused on response with max 350-400hp, not big numbers.

thx for any helpful info

From what I have seen, you typically sacrifice some of your low end power band for more mid-high, correct me if I'm wrong. As for numbers i can't really say much.

from what i noticed, with just putting on the intake manifold and tuning with some boost, fuel levels you can see as high as 20hp and as far as driving , you do lose alittle bit on the lower end, it will feel just slightly slower at lower RPMS

If you want to keep trq numbers high keep the stock intake manifold and add a larger throttle body. I have/had an extrude honed S14 SR manifold with a 60mm NA TB on my S14 SR. With VTC active I made 315wtrq and 360whp. I would expect trq numbers to drop with the larger plenum IM.

What was your setup to get those numbers?

according to my reasearch i agree with you guys just wanted a few extra opinions. For the torque and bottom end power needed on the gutless sr, i will be going back to stock intake manifold

Pm me and I'll go over my setup with you, I don't want to clutter his thread.

Generally speaking longer runners are designed for low-end trq/mid range power. Where as shorter are for mid range/higher rpm power.

my powerband being 3500rpm to 7200rpm desiring quick spool (which i now have) and a little more bottomend torque; im going to test the stock itm vs. the greddy style and see the differences.

speak to Steve Kochan (steve_shadows) about his experience with the greddy itm. the stock sr20 manifold is good up to 400hp before it starts choking your power band down at higher levels.

You will lose low end going with the greddy itm and gain top end, this may or may not hurt you with your current EFR setup and drifting due to it's fast spool and high boost it can create.

true, damn it. I guess we will have to test and see
i would like to know how bad and when the stock itm began to fail.
when tuning we accidentally hit 20psi and i swear on top of the existing incline of the turbo/whp the turbo seemed to wake up and freakin jump after 18psi
but I'm still on a stock rebuild so i wont push past 18-20 max for now.
