fs: 1960 street monster vw bug (European model)

for sale is my awesome vw bug. I just finished the motor so all parts are brand new onthe motor . it is very quick little car and tons of fun but I don't have time for it anymore so it's for sale .

price is 8000.00 firm...

engine:
2332 cc (2.3 liter) type 1 motor
dual 48 weber Ida carbs with third pregression hole drilled.
brand new counterweighted crank
brand new port and polished heads (had big oval ports) by brothers vw
very reputable vw shop in Ontario
has dual hi rev valve springs
holly fuel pump with fuel pressure regulator
external oil cooler with stainless oil lines

transmission:
prostreet tranny from rancho performance
welded 3rd and 4th gears
4.12 r&p

Interior:
stock interior that came with the car when I bought it
has automated oil pressure/ temp gauges
monster autometer tach w/shiftlight
grant steering wheel

exterior:
porsche fuch wheel 15x8 rear and 15x5.5 in the front

bad: the paint it pretty considering the previous owner neglected the car. he left the car outside uncovered so the clear is In rough shape. I have color sanded and buffed as much as i could with out damaging the paint. it does shine very nicely but can see flaws... also could use a new headliner but thats a cheap fix

overall the car is very solid ... no rust and a great daily driver. couldn't build this car for 8000.00 but my loss is your gain . for any other questions don't hesitate to email me... thanks for Looking and I'm also interested in trades
