Of course non of these suspension componets mean dick if the driver sucks but that's besides the point. I'm bascially wanting to set the car up to handle very well and have very low chasis flex.

So far what I have are:
JIC FLTA2
Battle Version Tension rods
Cusco Front Strut Bar

What I'm looking into:
SubFrame Spacers
Cusco Rear strut Bar
Cusco Front and rear Sway bars (Front one from Brian/yeswepromise)
Nismo Power Bar
Kazama Tie rods ends
Rear upper control arm
Rear Toe Link
Rear Foward Link

Yes I do know exactly whateverything is suposed to do.

Am I forgeting anything on my list? I know Do-Luck makes a bar that goes in the back seat but I'm not sure if I would need that or not. Thanks for the help.

I know you don't want to hear this, but spend that money on track time. Seriously, having a car that is rigid, and setup with all that equipment will only hamper your learning curve, and disillusion your abilities to yourself. You will become over confident because your car is covering up the small mistakes that you make, and you will likely make a bigger mistake by driving a car that is honestly out of you league.

Stock cars are forgiving, and the teach loads about how a car really handles.

I only suggest this cause I've seen it to many times where a guy comes out to the track in a really nice car with any combination of awesome suspension, lots of power, and/or good tires.. and he proceeds to ball the vehicle up in a wall because it covered his small mistakes, caused overconfidence, and then they make that one big mistake.

Tighten the Nut behind the wheel. You will determine the tools necessary along the way that will allow YOU as a driver to progress further.

sykikchimp's response was GREAT.
you should follow it

but later you could also get the full Do Luck lineup and maybe the Nagisa Auto lineup

I posted about the "sykikchimp" realization a while ago at my first track event. Everything I buy now is either because it NEEDS to be replaced due to breakage or something I would consider a necessity. I would have much rather bought JUST my LSD in the beginning and learned everything from there on track. Before I was in a mind set that I "needed" all the trick stuff, but I DON'T. You got a nice car and a good jump with the JIC's and LSD so why not just learn on those? Coilovers and LSD is ALL you need IMHO to start learning (actually its MORE than enough).

Oh you may want front ladder bar (if they make for S14)
NAMS fender bars
NAMS strut supports (they attatch strut tower to firewall)
Roll bar/cage (or get a do-luck rear cross bar if you need rear seat)

there is nothing more embarrassing then having a badass car loaded with suspension components and looks and then doing crappy at the track. thats why im holding off on the paint job, body kit, wheels, and the rest of my suspension until i become a better driver.

Am I forgeting anything on my list?

it depends on what you want to accomplish. if you're going scca, i think solo I requires a roll cage. not a 100% sure tho. if you're going to start drifting, i think its much easier to learn gradually then putting all that on. basically the extent of your list depends on what you want to do.

I couldn't agree more about the track time comments!!!

but if you are going for a stiff chassis, get a roll cage/bar made and installed. I'v only got part of the cage in so far but it has definately made a difference in stability in corners. Car just feels more solid. Its especially good for us Zenki S14 guys, with all the holes in our cars to lighten them up. Who the hell thought of that anyways?!?!

For a full track car only, roll cage and spot welds distributed liberally around the chassis, esp around the strut towers and load-bearing segments.

For a street car, I don't honestly believe it's safe to run with too much chassis support/reinforcements. A couple strut tower bars, preferrably triangulated (in front to firewall and rear to floor), ladder bars, do-luck floor bar and then maybe nams fender/door bar would be about the most I'd go to retain some sort of a margin of safety when it comes to crumple zones.

sykikchimp

a car is useless w/o a driver. get a rollcage and go to the track. i gotta save up money and fix my broken car :wtc: i want to go to track events with my friend next season.

besides that, how about a initial D style 'night kids' sticker? :D
