well I got bored last night and decided to do something w/ my time. I have got no cash so meaningful projects are a no go(i.e. suspension parts), but I did have some resin and fiberglass laying around so I got to work. Not much fiberglass but I did have enough to make some eyebrows for my car. Let me know what you think. Personally, I don't think I like them.

I don't like those at all man. THat's just my opinion tho, if you like it, more power to ya ;)
I think it'd look better if it went all the way across tho... having the plastic stop about 3/4 the way across looks like you make a brow from some other car fit...

I think they look decent but I say extend them more towards the turn signal

You said you don't think you like them...... lets just say you should go with your gut instinct. Not so far down towards the center and extend it to the corner of the headlight where it meets the corner light.

don't really like 'em, but then again i don't really like eyebrows for cars.
that said, it's probably a lot better than i could do

They look gross! They need to not cover so much of the lights and the grade of the angle shouldn't be so great.

I like your craftsmanship I mean it's a clean job just an ugly product i think. Reshape the eyebrows and have them match your body color and it'll look nice i think be cause after all you did a good job putting them on. less angle and less space covered up sounds about right. good luck.

not even really descent craftsmanship at that. I did this in a couple of hours w/ some scrap stuff lying around. This is only the second thing I've made w/ fiberglass. Lot's of airbubbles and thin/thick spot. I spent more time grinding it down so it's not so lumpy than actually laying glass and cutting to shape. As for the paint, I just used some black primer to block the light. I was really asking for opinions cause I personally don't like it and was hoping that someone might want to take them off my hands for cheap. I wasn't expecting more than what I got though.

Not a bad idea per se, I just don't like the design much. I attached a pic of what I'd think would be a better design, maybe you can give it a shot sometime. Make me some like this and I'll sport them!

BTW, kudos for the grill-less look, I dig it.

Oh, and I'll show you some truly ghetto appearance mods when I post up some pics tomorrow. $6 front lip owns all!:D

Ace, same idea, different execution. I must admit, I did get the idea from looking at pics of your car when you first did the garden trim thing. I'll post a thread about it tomorrow, let's not hijack this one.;)

I do like the ideas of it going from the inside edge of the hood all the way across to the corner lamp. The only problem I see w/ the brow going across to the corner lamp is fitment. My headlamp and corner lamp don't excactly line up perfectly, and the amount of offset between the two would vary enough from car to car that you could have a well made product w/ crappy fitment. I think I could make it to where the corner and headlamp pieces are separate and leave a little extra material for the consumer to whittle away at so that the line on the brow will be straight across the head and corner lamps. How does that sound? Also just wondering, how much would peeps be willing to pay for these? I'm not going as high as $100, but I'd still like to make some money on it. What do you s14 owners think??


On a side note, what kind of interest is out there for s14 owners for a different center panel for the rear? Shoot me some ideas for those who are interested.

http://www.silviaparts.com lists them for $75 plus $40 for painting (optional), they actually look pretty good might be cool to get a set and maybe get ideas for design.

Not good looking at all. Id leave it stock if I were you. If you do anything Taper it off to where it hits the turn signals so it gives it a slant look instead of a deformed look.

These are the only brows I've ever seen and like for the s14. If you make these I would ask to buy them off you.

A little strip all across the top and a little strip all across the bottom.

hey!! enough w/ the racial slurring!!!(J/K) I am not rice, I just got bored sunday night. As for that pic I posted w/ all the pc painting, that was just an idea. I've always wanted to make the headlights and especially the corner light seem smaller. Mixxamike posted a very good pic that was absolutly great in that regard. Now I just want to modify that upper and/or the lower peices so I'm not making a copy and still making it look nice but not to intrusive. I'll come up w/ something soon enough though. Chit, if you guys just send me your ideas and put them in a pic for me I might just make a handfull of one-offs for ya'll. Aint I a nice guy. Show me what you want and I just might start putting them out if there's some good interest. Email me the ideas at [email protected] if you aren't the sharing type and want something special just for yourself. As for those who are interested, green will be discussed privately and I'll even donate a portion of the green to the Zilvia boards.

Attn mods: if this is starting to be a commercial thing just let me know so I can take proper steps.

If I had euro headlights though, I think I'd flaunt them by not wearing eyelids at all. xp eyelids look ugly 99% of the time. the 1% when they look good are when they're on my broken (shattered) H4 housing, and only found on one side. :D I wish I had a digi cam...

if i remember correctly. thats not the passenger. thats the driver leaving over to the passenger side and holding onto the "OF SHIZT" bar

No, there's no way that's the driver. Unless he's somehow driving/drifting from the passenger side, there's no way. On another note, the ohsh!t bar is another item to add to my list of stuff to get while I'm in Japan.
