I'm finally getting papers to drive my s14 on the streets tho I've been driving it around just to keep the car moving without sitting for long periods of time. I notice my clutch was slipping soo I'm looking to buy a new clutch...I need a clutch perfect for daily but also one that can withstand the abuse on the track looking to take my car to events twice a month the most! so I'm just looking for opinions nd recommendations on what's out there....please no asshole comments thanks guys!

I have a Spec stage 2 on my KA-T setup, grabs hard and it feels good.

Since you're N/A, I guess the Stage 1 would be good enough.

Get a ceramic clutch. 4 puck 6 puck etc. Great grip and its fine for DD

RPS Max Street... Ive been running one for 3 years now, and last time the motor was out it still looked good as new. It has a heavy pressure plate, but an exedy full disk plate that's great for DD duty as well as holding 375ft-lbs for track day duty.

f1 racing stage 3 ceramic 6 puck. it's a cheap ebay brand clutch but it feels pretty damn good especially if you get it with the lightweight chromoly flywheel. i think it's good till you need a good clutch like doing swap or going ka-t. really easy to daily also.

or

the white bunny clutch set-up. idk if this is correct but it's a d21 pick up flywheel, and a turbo 300zx clutch and pressure plate. that set up feels really good.

I'd never run a spec I've had too many friends have problems with them exploding and destroying trans.

:duh: christ almighty, because everybody can afford OS giken, and thats the most practical brand for what he wants. you should end your subscription to super street, your brain will turn to mush

i also use spec stage 2, i dd my car and it see the track occassionally, it grips really well, and it doesnt kill your leg in stop and go traffic

Look up Tenesse clutch. Hole in the wall kind of place but they build damn good clutchs. Have one on my SR. 6 puck staggered carbon/kevlar plates with a 1800 lb flywheel. Great for dd and track days. Got one for 150 shipped to Denver.

I'm a big fan of Southbend DXD clutches. I had a stage 3 in my s13 SR20 and it was very easy to daily drive. Pedal pressure was light and held great power. They also offer cryo treatment for their clutches for another $40 bux.

I checked their website and their stage 1 clutch for the KA24DE is very well priced and can hold decent power. Definitely worth looking into.

This clutch is awesome for the track, but sucks to daily. There is about 3/4inch between not engaged at all and fully engaged. Good for clutch kicks!

It's what I got in my daily. If price isn't an issue, go with OS Giken.

You referring to me? Had my OS Giken clutch in since 2007. I ran my car hard enough to blow my turbo, but my transmission is running just fine.
