I can't take this anymore!

I need another 240SX so bad... you guys have no idea. I mean, I dream, imagine, fantasize, daydream, plan... everything that you could think of that involves mental images of 240s. It's been about two weeks that I haven't stopped having dreams that involved 240s. I'm keeping  my fingers crosse, hoping that one will come into this God-forsaken dealership, and there isn't a single one... not one. It's been three months, and I seriously can't take it anymore. My boyfriend's S14 is somewhat of a therapy, but it's not the same. It's almost like guys having blue balls when they can't get any. I don't have any balls... but I'm really sad and pissed off and somewhat hurt. And for some reason, I feel that if I put it up here, you guys will understand cause you all own these cars and just imagine how would it be without them... it really sucks. I do hope some of you will understand me.

To be perfectly honest, I think that I am going a little crazy. Not joking at all. Occasionally, I'll go up in the dealership attic (where we keep all the old files) and I&quot;ll look through thousands of Service Records and Sold Deal-bags to find someone who had a 240SX and to see what year was it, what was done to it, who owned it... &nbsp;I've started cutting out pictures of every 240 out of every car magazine I've ever purchased. i know what you're goin through s13grl. When i bought my first 240sx it was bright red '91 for $2,000. i was in love. i owned it for two weeks.. then i did something horrendously stupid and completely tottalled the car. I then bought an 89' but its automatic and the tranny is blown, but i'm hopining if i can find a cheap enough tranny i can turn around and sell the car for a bundle more than i got it for! i paid $711 for it. I see all these 240's around my area for such good prices but i'm broke! i can't stand it. Its like being at the playboy mansion and being told &quot;look but don't touch&quot; ####. it hurts.

thats alright. you're still one step ahead of me. i got fired from my job. the assitant manager (who also does scheduling) set me up and had me fired. turns out i was supposed to work a day that i wasn't really scheduled for and no one called to tell me i was late or that i fired. i found out from one of my friends who wasn't even on the clock at the time! And then the ass. manager gives me some bullshit excuse and i check it out w/ the manager (the only one who can fire people) and he says he knows nothing about me being fired and then said he'll talk it over w/ the ass. manager and get back to me. well he never got back to me and i just thought &quot;screw those @$$holes&quot; i didn't want to deal w/ the ass. manager anymore anyway so i just never showed up again and they eventually mailed me my last check. so now i'm jobless.. oh yeah, and i also lost my license because some cop felt like &quot;pulling over highschool&quot; students. I feel bad for you, I know that when I started my quest for an s14a... fuck, there was NOTHING, and I am talking all of canada not just the local area. But then mine popped up like an oasis out of no where.... I am sure the same will happen to you, it is bound to. Anyway, go to autotrader.com and search for a '95 240 for less than $3k that's &quot;any&quot; distance away from you. You'll find two with front-end damage. One's $2.4k and the other is only $1.9k.

I posted the link to the latter because I thought the damage didn't look as bad, it was cheaper, the seller claimed it still ran fine, and it was a few hundred miles closer to Chicago. 'Course, you'd have to get down to Florida, but your passion seems strong enough to make that trip.

And, so what if you need a new front end? Whatever. That's why we have trade agreements with Japan in the first place, isn't it? =)

Hey if you guys wanna screw around on eBay... you can try this... (it will take about 3-4 accounts) &nbsp;place a bid and keep placing until you find how much the proxy bid of the high bidder... if you are happy paying that... then retract your bids from the bidder that just bid it up and bid on it using the account you wish to actually win the auction with...

Okay so now you appear to be winning!! &nbsp;Now use another account to bid an outrageous amount (within reason) say like $6000 or $7000... , but now the auction will only be about $25 above your winning bid... because the rest of the $4000-5000 is all a proxy bid, so use that third account to bid that same amount... now the auction will show that the car is going for $7000!! And anyone that sees it wouldn't ever even mess with paying that much for it... retract those two high bids in the last minute or so and bam!! You know how much you'll be paying!!

Sure eBay wouldn't be too happy... but if you use accounts that aren't all yours (like if you have buddies) it would be very hard to actually prove!!
