I'm all over this. My gamer tag is Gordon27. Ive got high hopes so far for gears 3. They seem to have fixed A LOT of the problems. It doesn't feel like your player is 500lbs any more. And i haven't run into any lag yet. My only complain is you can kill and be killed at the same time by the same player. In all reality it makes perfect sense. but it just bugs me. I don't know why.

And if anyone ever wants to play together. hit me up. Just let me know your from zilvia.

Dude the beta is out already!! Pick up your copy!! All it is, is a code you redeem and it does a download on your xbox. 80mb and a 500mb xbox live update and your good to go!

New XDG3 Format = +1 Gigabyte of space for every 360 game, more content ect.

I had it preordered since March... As of about three weeks ago I decided not to buy it. I realized that I would only play it for the story mode, and that, to me, wasn't worth $60. I'll probably buy it after I start getting bored with Forza 4 and BF3.

So what's the appeal of this game on VS mode compared to say...COD or Halo? Just feel really slow online for me.

I tried multiplayer team deathmatch and while pretty fun, sawed off shotgun pretty much ruins things. This game would be perfect without the sawed off. With it its just "waiting for a fun game to come out". I can't believe it's taken Epic three games to still not fix a shotgun ruling the balance of things. At least the interface is much improved and there's no lag (that I've seen).

The sawed off can so easily be avoided though. Just don't let them get close, haha.

Yeah you can chip at them with The Retro Lancer. It's awesome, started using it and never looked back. SoS users do nothing to me anymore now that I use it.

i feel like a loser -_- i picked it up last night cause ive been so busy working and with school. Got it last night after the gym and i played from literally 9pm to 5:30ish am. This game is legit. So much fun to play with buddies on horde.

Yeah I rarely get killed by the sawed off but I don't have a rush-style approach when I play. I pretty mush sit back and rape face with the lancer/active reload. Long range FTW

^+1 same. cept when challenges in horde come up when you need to execute then im usually like the only one charging.

In matter of fact no one ive played with ever tries the challenges. I dont understand why not.


On another note i was sitting here thinking at work how much fun horde would be if we can have like 20 COG teamates online and lager maps and increased difficulty. Then i can play with more friends i actually know all in one game.

Anyone here wanna try to get to 50 in horde tonight? My buddy and I got to like 32 but then it gets a little difficult with just us two trying to get farther. Most ppl online tend to leave us stranded in the party or just arent that good.

Its a great game IMHO. Worth the 30 bucks forsure. Already a bunch of hours and great times on it with the buds.
