yes i am asking the infamous question again... i have seached freshalloy, zilvia, 240sx.org, and 240sxforums.. but all i got was people wanting to wire it up to there Ka's
does anyone know where i can get the wiring info on how to put it into the SR?? i have the whole unit with the plugs and harness and what not... just need a little more specific detail on how to do it...
sorry mods if i havent searched hard enough... but believe me i did about 1.5 hours searching...

Heres what I'd found out when researching this before. You'll need the dash subharness from an SR clip. You'll need the climate controller, electronic heater/AC blower gate (theres another name for this...but I forget...basically it switches from heat to AC), then there are like 3 or 4 temperature sensors (dash and shifter console that I know of......and I thought there was one near the airbox too). Thats as far as I got. If I were you I'd get the wiring diagram from an S13 SR factory service manual and have someone translate the Japanese.

everything you found on the ka is still applicable. when you swap SR in your underdash harness stays the same. plugs are changed on the ecu side. but like mbmbmb23 said you need all that stuff and the wiring is a PITA lots of work. R240na I'm pretty sure did a write up of everything involved.. everything you ever thought you might need to know about it. search FA under his name.. Rs uranious mounds or whatever the fack he's using these days...

Good link...except that website is in australia and all those people already have SR wiring harnesses and the swap they are doing is SR non-digital to SR digital. However...it is good info.
Heres a site I found.

I was thinking of a way to make a very rough climate control. Use a sensor of sorts, like a thermoswitch i beleive it would be called, and you could set your heat/cool thing (blue/red) to where you like it (good temperature) then hook up the thermoswitch to the lever that operates the blower motor (1,2,3,4) Assuming you could get, say a 70 degree thermoswitch and mount it somewhere in the car (center console is probably the best), and have it toggle between having the signal from the blower lever selector on/off, then you would have a VERY rough climate control. The idea is that it would be on when the temp was below 70, and then shut off the blower when it got to 70, or slightly above. It would basicly eliminate the need to keep selecting the blower speed, and messing with where in between you want the blue/red thing, instead it would just turn it on below 70, off above 70. Hope this makes sense, it feels like i am rambling :bash:

ahem, why have "over or under 70" when you can have your manual controller which is MUCH more accurate?
