WTF no brakes!!!!!

anyone ever had this happen to them.I was on a road trip to a friends house and we pop the hood so he can see what im workin with,he takes my brake boost cap off to test fit on his Z and we notice something very strange so we wrap it with DEI just around the top area. fast forward its time for me to make my way back home 450 miles,i stop at a rest area and when i started going and made a left turn i saw a cloud of smoke,i pop the hood and the whole damn thing has melted with no fluid in the middle of no where and this is what i found...ive seen a pics around with people having heat shields in front of this maybe because this has happend. now my question is where do i find them or do i have to have one fab'd up?

I got one of the cheap $20 ones or whatever and put some of that gold heat reflective foil on the outside, does the trick.

Just wrap your whole manifold. Problem solved and you wont be throwing away hp
