what is this called and where do i get it?

so im missing the metal pipe thing that comes out of this hole on my valve cover. its for the one that goes to the hose leading to the intake manifold.

what would the exact name of this be and where can i get one?

That's the breather valve. The pcv is towards the back of the engine, near the passenger side (usdm).

That's not it.
He's not looking for PCV valves, he's looking for the brass fittings that fit onto the valve cover.

I bet you can take some off other Nissan valve covers and push them in there.

what he is looking for is the the rubber grommet and the pcv valve that goes into that exact same spot on a notch top sr20det and it's connected to the intake manifold with that hose that is pictured.

you need the:

s14 pcv valve insulator
s14 pcv valve

you stick the insulator (aka rubber grommet) inside that hole, the rubber thing is notched so you have a little lip sticking out and then you push the plastic pcv valve inside it and connect it with your rubber hose form the intake manifold.

Take the time to waste money buying hoses and fittings for your non-pressurized valve cover vent. What an awesome suggestion. Buy the proper oem part, it does the job.

the pic i posted is from a s14 sr20det so its not usdm, its like the bottom left fitting in the pic about 3 posts up. maybe one from my ka would fit, if not im not sure where to get it
