I am tossing around the idea of selling my FD. The closer the project gets to completion, the less i find myself interested in it. I feel the car is one of the cleaner examples of an Ls swapped Fd and has lots of unique/custom parts. I do not need to sell the car, so do not waste my time with low ball offers. The only trades i will consider are for an Nsx, e46 m3, or an s15.
Chassis:
93 Touring approw 130k miles- Fresh black paint. The car came out of the body shop less than 2 weeks ago where it had 7K+ in paint and body work. It was sprayed with straight black and done right. All body panels were removed, door jams painted. The only thing not painted was the engine bay. I sprayed it flat black last year while the motor was out. Gas door, rear marker lights, wiper and wing trunk holes filled, mirrors moved off the doors and filled plus all dents and normal body work.
Motor:
01 Ls1 bottom end- 85k miles
Ls6 heads
Ls7 Lifters
RPM Custom Grind Cam- 236/242
Patriot dual valve springs
Ls6 intake manifold and valley cover
Ported Throttle Body
85mm MAF
Custom 1 5/8th mid length headers, 3 inch pipes that merge into a single flowmaster 4" muffler and all the way out the back.
Painless performance 18 way street fuse panel. Anything that was not needed, was removed and the entire car was professionally re-wired top to bottom.
Samberg V1 Radiator setup
10 gallon Fuel cell, Giant external Weldon Fuel pump, Corvette Fpr with 2 other aeromotive inline fuel filters. Stock injectors
Drivetrain:
Tick Stage 2 rebuilt trans-10k miles
Pro 5.0 shifter
Steeda Tri Ax handle
Drive Shaft Shop Aluminum Drive Shaft
Samberg Subframe, Trans mount, Rear diff mount
Spec stage 3+ clutch, Billit flywheel, Brand new slave cylinder 10k miles ago.
Full Converted Manual Steering Rack
Wheels/Suspension
Enkei Rpf1 18x10 +38 on all 4 corners. 265/35 nittos up front, 285/35 nitto drag radials out back.
Tein lowering springs
Drilled rotors. ABS deleted, Hardline ABS delete kit, Wilwood Proportioning valve, 929 master cylinder.
Samberg bump steer correction.
New Tie rods-10k miles.

Interior:
Full autometer gauge set up
Dash trim pieces, door panels, B pillar panels, rear divider all vinyl wrapped.
Black suede headliner, a pillars and shift boots, door panel inserts
Seats are upholstered with suede inserts and vinyl bolsters.
Seats are headed and cool air.
Modified Kirk racing 4 point roll bar painted the same color as the wheels.
Honestly, im probably missing a bunch, I have reciepts for everything tho. I truely feel that this car stands apart from most Ls swapped cars and will definently be sorry to see it go. If i recieve my asking price i will also throw in a set of 4 reinforced Fd wheels, 2 dont have tires, the other 2 have Mickey Thompson 26" drag radials with only a few miles.
The only problem with the car comes with the true mileage. The true mileage is unknown because the previous owner never documented when he switch to the Autometer gauge setup. My title says about 26K miles, the odo reads 38K now. The car has a clean carfax and the last reported service is from 2001 at 68k. So i estimate the car has around 130k miles on it now. I know the previous owner and all the mileage from the last 6 years or so has been documented.
I built this car from the ground up. I know every in and out of this car, so if you have any questions i will most certainly be able to answer them. I am asking $27500 obo for the car as it sits and i will include the stock wheels with drag radials depending on the final sale price. Again i do not need to sell the car so do not waste my time. I am well aware of what MOST Ls swapped FD's are going for and i feel this car is much nicer than the majority of them. So please keep your comments to your self if your not interested in the car.
If you would like more info on the car and would like to speak to me personally, send me a pm and i will give you my cell number.
Thanks,
Austin

27.5k is pretty expensive. i'm not sure who'd rather own your rx7 over a mint z06 vette with under 20k miles. there are many 700hp z06's going for your price as well.

but this is your car and you speak truth of your car being clean looking.
very nice car and goodluck with the sale.

I see the car all the time. its possibly the cleanest FD ive seen in person.
you get a corvette motor in a lighter platform and with way better quality parts including interior. It always seems that GM does amazing R&D on their engine, but when it comes to the quality in parts and interior, they just say "F it". GM interior seems like its made by the same company that makes power wheels.

i dunno $25k LS1 swapped FD without PS / AC.. is though..

yeah i agree with you at a point...but a z06 is just newer and will have better resale value. not many people are looking to spend close to $30k on a 1993 unless it were well-known to the majority of the public. it's clean but does clean really mean $27.5k?
i have a 1992 with a clean and a higher quality interior as well.
an ls6 would make more sense with that kind of price. other than that, you really can't compare it to an 02-04 z06 realisticly

Its a select crowd. someone that is looking to do this swap in a car like the rx-7 would buy this considering it would be more to do it themselves.

Have you drivin a car this light without power steering? It is not needed unless you have tooth picks for arms. Having no A/C is a downside, but the car was not built to drive to the grocery store in July. :-)

Price drop 23.5K obo. I listed the car high, just hoping someone would jump on it. Realistically, I feel the car is worth somewhere in the low 20K range.

The car basically has an ls6 in it. It has 243 heads, ls6 intake and an ls1 is the same 347 block. Only difference is that the ls6 has forged rods, so you can rev a little higher. It goes on the dyno this Thursday, so we will see what kinda power it makes. I promise you, if you park this next to a 600 hp z06, this thing is gonna steal attention away from it. And it will roll right with it on the highway heading home. The car weighs 2650 lbs and makes 400 ft/lbs of torque. It rolls the F*** out lol.

With the way z06's are priced right now, it is hard to compare/compete with them. At the end of the day you have to look and see if you want to be like every other 30-40 year old going through thier mid life crisis. Or, have something truely unique, that still has the same performance just without some of the creature comforts.

I will never own one of those cars. I would rather shoot myself in the face then try to work in that engine bay. I have lots of respect for people that actually build those cars right, because it takes a lot of work.
