View Full Version : which one s13 or sir
honestly, don;t just try an make our 240 sound big and bad. my friend has a honda civic dx, and he did an engine swap for the SIR 167 hp engine, he had header dual exhaust, clutch and flywheel, maybe intake, other thn that i don't know.. i've got a 1990 s13 with the sohc, i feel it's pretty quick i stay up with my fair share of stags and camaros. i have hotshot intake, apex-i dunk muffler iwht fabricated 2.5 inch pipe, centerforce dual friction clutch. and that;s it.. we're gonna race who do uthink will win.. we'l do it sometime this week, i'll let u know what happens but tell me what u think .. be honest

What year civic? If it's like a '91, youll get your ass whooped. Those things are feathers, like 2050lbs, maybe 2100...i dont know the weights of later models though.

personally, i think you are at a disadvantage due to your SOHC, but i beleve the 240 will have more more torque to in the beginning. but the SiR is somthing to watch out for

he's gonna kick your ass after 2nd gear. Your at a horsepower and weight disadvantage. Of course he could screw up and you could win, but it would have to be a pretty bad screw up.
