Hey guys i'm getting ready to purchase either an s13 or s14. I like both body styles so whatever the best deal I can grab i'm on it. Basically what i'm trying to do is put out anywhere from 500-600rwhp. So i'm wanting to basically get a ballpark of what I will need and how much i'll be looking to spend. :l101::boink:

also depends on what platform you want. RB engine? SR? KA? Swap in a V8?

It's been a while since I've seen a noob with high aspirations and seemingly no experience or means to achieve those goals. Maybe I'm just out of the loop.

I currently own 2 C5 corvettes with a few mods. I've been around power for a little while. Been in a 824rwhp forged ls3 c6 procharged with nitrous. Drove a procharged c5z06 with 5psi pushing 540rw so im no stranger to power. I just want to start a new project and I've always loved the look of the 240s. The reason I want to go for 5-600rwhp is bc I want something pretty fast while still civilized. I could say 1000hp but you cant use all that power especially in a car as light as these. 500+ at the wheels is just the feel that i'm looking for. Plus it's gonna be a track car so I want a balanced car.

There is a reason I started to post. I dont need any negative comments. I made it plain and clear what I'm looking for. So if you cant provide me with the information. Why even comment?

cvilized is 300-400 hp.
formula D drivers run 500-600 right now.

also, the platform wasnt BUILT for more than 200, so keep that in mind. vettes are built for a LOT more power, driving a 500-600 hp 240 is COMPLETLY different.

Sounds nice! However I dont want the feel of a v8 being that I already own 2 vettes. Part of the reason for a 240 is lightweight for me. So that won't do me much justice.

if you already have and know about ls motors, put a ls motor in a 240....

you would need to put about fifteen grand in it or more. If you have to, overnight parts from Japan and this guy

Because we here on Zilvia don't like wasting bandwidth with spoon-feeding newbs when they can find their anwers using the search feature, either here or on Google.
Kthxbye.

lol 300-400hp isn't much to me. I'm at 420rwhp in my c5(3200+lbs) and it doesnt do much for me anymore. It's pretty civilized to me. I get 34mpg on a 4 hour road trip. 500+ is what i'm looking for lol. So if you can help me out good if not cool either way.

Although you made your request "plain and clear" that's not the point. You can't expect to come into a forum and ask such a general question and expect nothing but serious answers. How about you take some time to familiarize yourself with the forum and the SEARCH feature. Seems everyone wants to be spoonfed the information. :lockd:

I just literally put in "500rwhp" in the search feature and had about 7 builds come up that you could read through to get an idea of what you want. So don't start making excuses. Do us all a favor and delete your account and just continue to troll the forum for the info you need. :smash:

have you ever driven in a light car with 400 hp?
COMPLETLY FUCKING DIFFERENT
400 hp in a datsum 510 is gonna feel completly opposite of it in a 1 ton truck.
read, search, you ask for help but when people say anything you immediatly start putting down everything anyone said.
i dont care if you have the money, this build will never happen.
