How do you pay $100 a year? That's hard to believe. Either you're skating out by telling them you only drive 5 miles a year, or your parents pay for it and you give them $100.
I pay $56 a month, full coverage on my S13, USAA. Perfect record and my parents and g-parents have had USAA so I get a little discount for that, and a military discount.
They have the best costumer service of any company, insurance or otherwise, I've ever dealt with. I recommend their insurance and banking.

depends where you are for insurance so asking other people in Nebraska what they pay isn't going to affect YOUR rates in New Jersey.
But to throw in my info since you're nearby...before I turned 25, I was paying 210 a month for bare minimum coverage on my 240 with Progressive. After I turned 25, it went down to 110 a month to slightly better than bare minimum with Geico. I already have the ABS, anti-theft, and defensive driving discounts included in pricing.

You can't just ask someone what they pay for insurance.... it's like calling up the Chevrolet dealer and asking how much a Chevy cost!!?!!
If you want to make comparisons, we need to know:
Age
Vehicle
Liability only or full coverage
How much liability is covered
What is the deductible
Male or female
Single or married
Rough idea of driving history and even credit score
Any multi-car discounts, student discounts, security discounts etc.
Location
Insurance Company

Driving around uninsured is retarded. I pay 46 a month for 15/30 liability with uninsured motorist through rmis and I've got an accident on my record I'm 21 male in Cali with a 93 hatch. I was paying almost 200 a moth for full coverage on my 99 accord on my parents policy when I was 18.

Not quite sure why you quoted me.
I'm still interested in knowing how someone can manage paying $8.35 a month for even liability insurance.
Also, driving any distance on public streets without insurance is, well... retarded. Don't do that.

Because you couldn't believe he only pays $100/year. You have no idea what his coverage is or any of the other factors I listed. So I was simply stating you cannot compare what he pays to what you pay without knowing a dozen different facts.
For what it's worth I pay $177/month total for the following through State Farm:
My 1992 Nissan 240sx w/full replacement coverage... even on my $50k worth of crap on the car. $100 deductible
My 2004 Acura TL A-Spec Full coverage with a $100 deductible
My wife's 2011 CRV 4WD EX-L Full coverage with a $100 deductible
Home coverage $400,000 worth with a $500 deductible
My wife's wedding ring $10,000 coverage
No accidents, no tickets, married, 37 years old

ur my hero.
idt ive ever even heard of someone ur age with no tickets or accidents. then again, besides myself, i dont really know many people MY age with no accidents or tickets haha.
but wow. i plan on keepin my record clean like that. i dont understand how people get into accidents or get tickets.
drive smart, and drive well.
if someone else hits u, then im not sure that counts as an accident on ur insurance unless ur somehow at fault. which brings us back to driving well lol.

Its a law but I drive like a total of 5 miles a day.
I don't reccomend it to anyone.
God I'm glad I don't live by you. IMO people, like you, that drive without insurance are another one of those leeches on society that make the rest of us pay for their mistakes. To whoever said that when he gets in a wrecks and the person has a $100,000 medical bill that he'll have to pay it, that's not exactly what will happen.
They'll come after him for whatever he's got, and considering he won't even pay for insurance I'm assuming it's not that much... Then the rest of us get to pay for it!
Quit being a fucking moron and at least get minimum liability. Until then I hope the next time you get pulled over and your car gets impounded and you have to pay triple whatever insurance would have cost to get it out.

On that note, I pay $76/month with SafeCo for $500,000 combined single limit and $5,000 medical payments coverage. Liability only.
22 year old male with nothing on my driving record currently but when I was 17 I had my license suspended which still gets back to my insurance companies until the end of this year I think.

Holy shit how the hell is everyone paying so little???
I WAS paying about $110 a month with Mercury (on my parents policy back in the day), then I got my own policy and was paying about $98 a month (this is all for liability only btw).
Started getting tickets, got in an accident (not at fault) Mercury took 4 months to give me my check so I threw them out. License was suspended for too many points (many speeding tickets).
Currently, I have the SR22 filed (required), and only 2 or 3 tickets on my record. I'm paying $123 a month for liability only for my 1991 Toyota 4Runner. For awhile I was getting away with a non-owners policy at $56 a month. I am currently with Unitrin Specialty. State of CA

25 year old male. 1990 hatch. Had a red license (restricted) at one time. Couple accidents. $75/ month liability only with Dairyland Auto.
adriannas insurance in east la. The only insurance company that would insure me and give me a low price. It's pretty much a piece of paper saying Hey Officer, I have insurance..... (insurance that won't do anything when I am in an accident) I limit my driving time due to that and just go to work and school.
I pay $49 dollars a month liability with an initial $150 dollar start-up fee for a s2000 with a maximum amount of points - 0 accidents
[coverage numbers are depressing]
Trust me, I know I am a retard. Things happen and at least I recognize it after the impounds and lost licenses.
hope this gives people that are in a similiar situation some light that they can actually drive, but at a serious risk against your wellbeing.
If I could take it back I would get a company similar to farmers and save all my receipts for parts and do whatever possible to bring down my monthly.
