Motorola DVR Remote Hack

For those who have a Motorola DVR from their cable company, I just discovered there is a hack to reprogram your remote to have 30 sec skip button and for tuner swapping if your cable company's remote does not have any of these. There are also other things you can program the remote to do (like macros).
