View Full Version : how many clicks am i supposed turn my tein suspension?

i bought some used tein he's and i need to know how many of the 24 clicks im supposed to use? and whether i start counting them from counter clockwise to clockwise or vice versa.

i know i tried.......but im at work and this rag computer wont show any of the text for the instructions so i was hoping someone online could let me know so i could put them on my car before i get off work.

let me help u out

1. Use the included wrench (HEX wrench) to turn the adjustment knob on top of the piston rod to the hardest setting (full clockwise)

2. from the full clockwise position, turn the adjustment knob coutnerclockwise until "standard values" listed below are reached.

Front:
Turn Back 10 clicks (from hardest setting)
Rear:
Turn back 12 clicks (from the hardest setting)

USE ONLY LEVELS 1-16. Exceeding level 16 may damage the damper.

Drive at the standard setting and adjust as necessary to the best setting

why do they go 24 clicks of you are only supposed to use 16?

the other clicks are for when tein services them.

So, if 16 is the last click, how would you go PAST 16? And if I run mine at less than 8 clicks from full soft, are those are "imaginary" settings? I can feel a definite differnece between full soft and 8 clicks. I think these instuctions are stoopid, I just treat them like a 24 way.
