I'm a rather tall guy and in order to fit in my car, my seat is all the way back and slightly reclined. This kinda puts the steering wheel way out in front of me. Is there anyway to put a hub spacer on my stock steering wheel? I really don't want to lose my airbag and replace my steering wheel with an aftermarket one. I like knowing I have one more bit of protection between me and any potential accident. I've seen steering hub spacers...but do they work for the stock steering wheel?

u need a Lexus with telescopic steering wheel adjustment..:)
but yeah i dunno..i would imagine those only work for aftermarket because of the way the stock steering wheel secures to the column...doesn't use the 6 bolt pattern like MOMO or Sparco to my knowledge...
but i could be wrong..lol..
good luck..

no you cant
stop being weaksauce king and dump that airbag before it takes your head off!
haha
just kidding
seriously you cant add a spacer.
i have the same problem... i'm not going to fit in my damn car when i start autox'n when i get unlazy enough to start going to those events.. i hardly fit in my car with the seat in a comfy position, let alone in an aggressive lets drive position.. then.. on top of me.. theres an inch of helmet... so i'm just ****ed... i'm selling my car... unless anyone has a remedy for me.. maybe i'll jusst take out the seat alltogether.. and figure out how to bolt it STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR>
